Hi guyz , just got one of the last KK S25 availlable lol and as usual , when i buy from NI , i expect the best and the less ....,,

Keyboard , like i have 2 or 3 keyz less resistant to pressure , knobs are great (unklike my mashine studio that has some loose ones from day one !!)

My real concern is the button OCT + & - can you guyz tell me if they're supposed to feel like for exemple the button ENTER or PRESET or do they feel loose also in your case , i have to press in center or more on the right side of them ....reall loose like my mashine MKI stuff ...

Anybody can report please before i send it back for nothing ....

    Thks guyz

NB : the rest is exellent , it's a great piece of gear ...

I have a S88 and my OCt + & - keys click, like the rest of the buttons on the keyboard, and the buttons on the MKII + Studio Maschine controllers.
They're not loose at all. I HTH.

Hello Jeezo. Sorry to hear about the issues with your S25 - please contact Technical Support by logging into the Native Instruments website and selecting Komplete support.

Thks Adil , but what the support would do ? the real issue here is that the S25 stock are in zero !!! so if i send it back to the shop ...no keyboard until mid april ...anyway , i'm gonna reach the support ....

the button click but they don not feel resistant to pressure like others , could you verify this and tell me if they're supposed to be as resistant as the Enter button for exemple .

Do they feel as resistant to pressure than other button (Enter ect ..) or less ?

The buttons on my S25 do feel slightly less resistant/easier to click than other buttons on the keyboard - this is because they are shorter than e.g. Enter/Browse/Back. They feel similar to the Page Left/Right buttons.

Thks Adil , last thing could you check when you clik on em on the left side / center and Right side ...

really need to press hard to hear the clik on side , like the "clik" is low under the button ...
When i clecik in the center it's better , but defeintly not like the pages left right exept the noise but page left / right are more ressisatnt but the cliks trigger more easily.

Adil , do i have to contact NI or my seller ( i got it since monday ) , its getting worst ...:( the travel of the button is really poor specially the ctave up , sometime it doesn t even octave up even with click noise ...

The problem is that it was the last one in this shop , NI can handle it ?

Usually you need to go to your seller. He is liable for warranty. In Switzerland it's that like. I think NI knows the quality issues. I returned mine aswell because of one knob which was faulty. I hope they invest in better knobs and potis in Version 2, i have Kore 2 since beginning and knobs are rock solid there, but it's another approach there...

i know exactly how you feel. you dont want to send it back cause you need then to wait and now you try to arrange with yourself to accept the issues of the hardware. but thats not a good way to struggle that hard with yourself. Just return it and you will get a new one. And you will have a good feeling in the future...

I ordered another one and will keep (i hope ) the best of both ....
It's not that much the Hw only , but time to time even if it clciks , the oct incremenation deosn't occurs ....so i think it's done but it's not ...so i have to color code each octave to have a visual feedback while playing (better than buttons)

    UPDATE :

Just received the second one ... way better oct up /down button , transport button are hard to press with near zero click ( i knda like it actually , zero noise emition ) knobs , 4 great , 1 wak with absolutly zero resistance when turned , 3 normal

Again the end of the story is , next time i buy NI , i will never do it online , in shop ...i open there and choose a good unit

Actually i have to choose between loose knobs or wak oct up button
