This is a snippet of the first track I finished in maschine. I still have some work to do on it. I have to add the intro and a breakdown, but this is pretty much what it is. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Viiiibes. Nice man, I like it. Only thing is i'd maybe raise the snr up a bit in volume.

Out of interest did you use LFOtool for the sidechain effect or something else?

    Thanks, Pssngr. Appreciate the feedback.

For the sidechain effect, I just added some attack to every chop. I'm happy you noticed that because it's exactly what I was going for, but I don't have a sidechain VST, so I tried to emulate it the best I could with what I had.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it being my first track and all. I finally found the time to get away from school and really make some music.

Yeah, the vibe is nice and mellow on that track. I would love to hear the finished track with some variation in the drums. The snares need some more presence but I like it though!
