I recently got the X1, but noticed the default FX mapping weren't right.

Shift+1 (Delay) Gives me Beatmasher2 effect
    Shift+2 (Reverb) Gives me Delay
    Shift+3 (Filter) Gives me Flanger

This happens on both sides. Can you help?

    Thanks

you can cycle through your effects by holding shift and pressing the button next to the appropriate effects knob,

Is there a place to download the original mappings?

Sounds like you have done the backwards approach to getting the X1 working, like I did at first.

Unless you have a Tracktor older than 1.2.4

Thing is if you have Traktor installed already then you get the X1 and plug it in, then install driver (windows) it doesn't play ball. So you have your driver installed X1 is seen by OS, what do you do then. Well you look for a mapping in the Traktor settings folder, of which you will find a few. None of which are good for the default user. My best suggestion in this instance is to do a complete reinstall of Traktor (you should not lose settings, but please backup) When the software is installing be sure to tick the box that say something like 'I have an X1!' when you load up Traktor you should find the default HID mapping is in place and working.

The way to test this is to check that the X1 will enter MIDI mode. Make sure in Traktor X1 controller settings (right at the bottom) that MIDI mode is enabled then when you hold shift and hit hotcue the hotcue light should go green (MIDI mode). After this it will go into MIDI mode even if Traktor is not running!

This means that Traktor is successfully controlling the X1 settings.

In Prefs->Effects where the list of selected effects are, the top three are the hotbutoon ones (in order). Change the order of the effects list to get the ones you want.
