NI and I have had a very long and fruitful relationship, however, I have some questions to ask:

    1) who the hell came up with this ridiculous concept that the default patch directory can not be moved?

    2) why are the patches located in such silly locations? and why are they spread out all over the hard disk? I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SELECT WHERE THE DEFAULT CONTENT IS STORED, IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?

some of us like to keep our patches, samples, and other content on another drive so that when we restore our system drive from an image we wont restore our patch libraries to their previous state as well.

    Some observations:
Komplete 3 was better than Komplete 4
The new .ksd format was a mistake, each instrument (fm8, absynth4) should have its own file extension

Here's a question: why are the patches for AB4 in Shared Content\Absynth4 Instead of \Absynth4\Sounds? They aren't shared, theyre for absynth4 only, right??? God damn it it the stupidity drives me insane!

When I manually configure the browser in AB4 - adding the patch directory on my external drive and deleting the default directory, AB4 just re-adds the default directory even though I deleted it! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?????

**By enforcing the \Common Files.. \Shared Content.. directory structure nonsense NI is effectively taking the control away from power users who want to be able to manage where they store their patches. Next they will be telling us what genre of music to produce. You guys need to fire whoever is running the show and get a new man in there to save the sinking ship, give steve jobs a call!

I agree! I also hate the new kore sound system and the way patches are arranged now. I organized my own sound library very carefully in the past and had a lot of trouble to restructure everything. Unfortunally some members of the NI development team told me that they won´t change the new sound organisation system.

~~WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?????

Well, I also ask that - NI behaves like my computer would be theirs ..... Read Only Memory might be a great invention for those that a stepping backwards in time ......
The browser is slow, only limits access and pretty unintelligent (imported glos get the settings of the last selected patch ....) - the idea of the browser is great, customer care is poor .....
