    2.0.0 (R883)

I also tried running in 32-bit mode, it made no difference.

Interesting for me is that Maschine 2.0 has more difficulty loading up individual samples from it's own library that loading up entire kits.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. I'm also having the browser/prehear issue. In addition to that I'm having a similar audio freeze issue while prehearing slices in edit mode.

If it's happening on slice edit too then maybe it is related to the audition/prehear bus? Seems to be Mac only?

How long does NI usually take to release its first software update?

Tried everything and can't repro here. Have any of you sent your crash logs to support? Need to do that. Not likely to be fixed without a repro or at least a crash log.

Ok after some more experimentation :

    - Raising the buffer of my interface helps things a little, I am able to quickly scroll through sounds for a while without the software/audio becoming glitchy and slowing down. ( Anything under 256 the crashing happens even when scrolling through 5 or 6 sounds with prehear on.)

    - Loading a sample is random. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't. Sometimes it acts as though it has loaded but no sound plays despite the master meter in the software telling me something is playing.

I have only been trying to browse through the Maschine 2.0 files as that's all I have on my system right now. Autoload is not on, only prehear.

Freshly formatted 2010 Macbook Pro running Mavericks, 8gb RAM, hybrid SSD/HDD, fresh install of Maschine 2.0 and updates etc. Interface is Komplete Audio 6 with latest firmware and drivers.

I have tried using a powered usb hub and directly into the macbook with no change in results.

Really not a happy bunny as this is unusable. So gutted as Maschine 1.8 was probably the most stable and dependable music app I have ever used.

Really really hoping someone from N.I can help us out soon with this so I can get back to it.

Problem is it doesn't actually crash for me so I can't really send anything to let N.I know. I have seen it before and I think it's definitely an audio interface issue.

You know when you have a huge project in a DAW and you try playing it at a tiny buffer and everything collapses in on itself in a noisy tantrum? It's like that. It's like the interface crashes and Maschine carries on doing its thing without realising. This is with fresh projects with nothing loaded trying to use the browser in Maschine at reasonable buffer rates ( 192 - Which is actually higher than I am used to using at the very beginning of my projects ).

Do you have the mixer view on the GUI on when this happens?
Check your crash logs as sometimes it can generate one even if the application stays open.
It does sound more like a driver issue. Are you using asio? What sample rate?

Not using mixer view no, just the arrange.

    44.1k, it's Coreaudio as it's on Mac :)

I will gladly check the crash logs if/when I can find out where they live!

I got it working! ..for a moment :(

    - Uninstalled all Traktor Audio drivers: Got maschine working with internal soundcard.
    - Full of excitement plugged Maschine controller, Motu Ultralite + External Display -> All freezing again.
    - Uninstalled Motu Drivers and Reinstalled them, nothing works (without or with Motu Drivers)
    - Installed Traktor Audio 6 Driver and plugged Traktor Audio 6 in usb: It works how it should again, with Audio 6 & Macbook soundcard.
    - Plugged Motu Ultralite in Firewire: None of the soundcards work again, even if I unplug Motu.

So I think this might be driver conflict as i've been having problems with Traktor too:
Suddenly Traktor just starts to crackle, like latency was too low, it is usually fixed but changing latency / samplerate settings, but it does not make any difference what the settings are, it just starts at random and the CPU usage is minimal.
I haven't reported this problem yet since i've only had traktor for month or so and it happened randomly.

What you describe certainly sounds like a driver conflict. Anyone else having this issue have multiple soundcards? Also, do you guys have internet browsers up when this happens?

I messed with the samplerate & latency settings and I got Maschine working with all soundcards hooked up, without glitches with both Motu and Audio 6.. for awhile, then the freezing starts again. Traktor Audio 6 is the only one which goes crackling after one hickup, so you'll have to mess with SR & Latency to reset it.

It is really weird because sometimes every else samplerate works than 44khz, sometimes only 48khz or 96.. etc.
Exactly like Traktor glitches on me.

I'm also getting this problem. Does not crash, just long stall with spinning circle. I'm using win 7 64 bit, focusrite sound-card, mk1 controller, i7, 8-core processor. Thanks.
