The subject basically says it all. I haven't seen a lot of people talk about their satisfaction (or lack thereof) with the official flight case, aside from some noting that it's quite heavy.

I'm thinking about grabbing one...I'm not down with the ginormous Traktor branding on the front, but the fact that it essentially expands into a table complete with laptop stand is attractive. Weight isn't an issue I'm terribly concerned with, I don't plan on taking this thing large distances without a car.

So, I'd love to hear general impressions...and one very specific one. Anyone 6 feet and taller that owns a flight case, do you feel that the case legs prop the setup high enough for your tastes?

Just received mine yesterday and am very pleased! Weight really isn't that bad, construction quality is good, and the smoothness of the computer stand was impressive. Unit fits very tight in the case not allowing movement and there is plenty of room on the backside of the unit for cords etc. Just like a regular flight case this one stacks allowing for better height adjustment. I'm 6' and don't see why being shorter or taller this case wouldn't work. Thumbs up on this buy!

hey guys...happy owner of the flight case here...what people dont mention...is that you can put everything that you need for a gig in this case....laptop, cords, headphones, cigs, beer....lol...everything i use with the s4 fits perfectly in the flight case.

i bought it last week and had a gig that sat. i threw my laptop, s4 of course, cords, headphones...and was ready to go. its really a nice case with the added laptop stand. you can also slide the laptop stand all the way out..

i took some pics of the case with my gear inside at www.masterbeaters.com might be on the second page.

    thanks!

I'm 6ft and I think the flight case is fine in terms of height. It is really handy in terms of setting up at a house party, just open the case and slide back the laptop and you're ready to go. Club setting it is probably pretty useless, it's way too big and heavy. I'm going to get one of those Magma bags for proper portability.

    I'm 192 cm which is Around 6ft i guess?
    Very happy with the case.
I usually use a Road Ready RRstandt1 (90 cm height) during my gigs.
If the table is lower, you can increase the height of the S4 by using te top of THE case.
    Works perfectly.
THE weight is rather good aswell. I prefer to use à sleeve for my macbook pro.
I would have liked à littele more room for storage for cables, headphone etc.

    My rating : 9 out of 10

only thing that bugs me is those black rubberknobs under the case. without those the top of the case would click nicely under increasing the height. look at the "cornerballs". why didn't they make some kind of plugs or holes on the case for the rubberknobs or make them screwable?
