The FM8 forum section is out of date, listing the 'curren't version as 1.4.1.

I'm downloading 1.4.4 as I write this, from Native Access. First FM8 update I've seen in ages -- but where are the release notes?

    Big Sur compatibility, mainly.

Mario, is it for win10 or win7?
On the NI product page the demo is 1.3.2 and version number for the full FM8.
All BigSur updates are also win10 requirements like Absynth and (old) Massive?

Would love to see an interface update similar to the new Guitar Rig 6 Pro

To be honest, I didn't test if W7 works. It still might.

    I run win7pro. So I don't update FM8, Absynth and Massive. Don't change a running system.

So apparently the update wipes out the 32-bit VST? Don't like that at all. Not that I would insert it into a new project, but I have old projects that must be loaded in 32-bit Sonar because they use MIDI plugins that won't load in 64-bit Sonar or Bandlab Cakewalk.

Now Native Access gives me a message that the 32-bit VST cannot be found and suggests that I update. Very confused. After all, Native Access managed the installation - I certainly didn't move the 32-bit VST.

Per its suggestion, I had Native Access reinstall FM8. I get the nice check mark when it's finished. Once again, after reinstalling, closing, and reopening Native Access, I'm told that FM8 should be reinstalled because the 32-bit VST cannot be found.

That's a bug in NA as it is currently. There will be no more 32-bit plugins coming from NI in the future.

That's what I figured, but it is annoying.
