FM8 Arpeggiator MIDI Output

I'm just wondering where NI is on this? It appears a lot of people have asked about it in this forum, and it's even a feature request--though that's closed and we can't add our votes or voices to it any longer.

I'd love to be able to layer some sounds with a few of the arpeggiator's sequences. Does anyone have any idea how to do that since there's no MIDI output?

If no-one's posted in that topic for over a year, that means that this particular feature request is also over a year old.

I don't hold out any hope for seeing this as an added feature, unless it appears in an "update" called FM9 which we'll probably have to buy as part of some grand Komplete pack in 2011 or later.

Sorry - I just don't have much faith in NI's product support and updates any more. They make great products (FM8 is one of them), but don't seem to give a damn about their paid users.

 

Er...yeah, I hope that's not the case, but you're right: the request has been out there for quite some time. Many people had asked about it, too. I'm not sure opening it up again would help, though I had hoped....

FM8 is a great product, yes. I don't know how many people would have to add their names to the thread to make it a "feature", but if the last group of vocal users weren't able to do it, maybe there's not much chance this time, either.

Oh well...guess I'll work with what I have.
