I just want FM8/9 to save the quadrants in easy mode. I hate losing those every time I load a sound. Really sad that they didn't include fm9 in K9. I'm kinda new to this.. does this mean no fm9 until k10 or do they upgrade the software in between komplete versions?

They do relise software befor Komplete but.
I am not shure about FM but i am pretty shure thay will hold Reaktor 6 until the hext Komplite so they can write something " The synth which rule them all including our previus synth which had to rule them all':D
So it means we need to wait another year:(

I am guessing either two things:

    1. Either the main programmer has left the company.

    2. Or is more busy on other NI priorities (Reaktor, Maschine, Battery, Massive). With the huge product line NI has, I'd bet they are one busy company and I'd imagine it being hard for them to prioritize.

Hopefully NI reads their awards and take note that they make some powerful synths. But newer hungry developers are trying to close in.

But FM8 is still on top in terms of FM synthesis. I doubt NI is going to let that totally slip.

I am starting to wonder with Monark, that NI is going to start going back to doing classic analog synth emulations.

Maybe we will see another Pro 53 again and other synths. It depends on how well Monark is received.

Interesting thought. Now that I think about it, #1 is probably the case and that's sad.

I agree Monark is a cool synth but because it is locked it is so so bad!:(
I want to use some parts of it in my own ensembles.
    NI please unlock it!

..which would be rather silly. A company with the size of NI would surely require source code to be fully documented so that other coders could continue development, or at least maintain its current state with bug fixes.

In the end it's economy and sales that dictate FM8's faith. At least I did my share o' promotion.. ^^

Wow, that piano sounds amazing. Just got myself a TX802 and downloaded thousands of sysex files over the years for use in FM8 but never heard something like that, well done!

So, he's the tea boy now? Most of all these buggy quirks and some of the suggestions are really small fixes.
