FM8 is pretty much going crazy and switching between different screens like, BROWSER, MASTER, or EFFECTS super fast and it is basically making this useless right now,
this only happens when i open or save a sound
is there a fix for this?
i think i saw another thread out like this from 2009 but it was dead and no answer was made

a way to deactivate it is to go to file > options, you can also activate it this way

    rebuild the database

File -> Options -> Database (tab) -> Rebuild DB.

    also forgot to say

on Massive if you rebuild the database it "usefully" resets all you star ratings and colours.

"Yo man its like a feature.........?@£$%%^%" loved to have been at that meeting

not sure if FM8 is the same

use "author field" to add star ratings ** **** ***** ****** etc

as this does not get reset.

    ...and always remember NI=Not intuitive

I have a bugger of an FM8 problem where i duplicate a track or load a preset and its completely different...- the jury is out on whether the plugin is made properly.

I have a example file that always does this.

I'll probably get mods and fanboys smash me up - but we should expect more from NI FM8 has been around for years
