Solved FM8 Matrix Adjustment No Longer Work

I'm using version 1.4.1 (R1599) (supposedly its the latest)
Windows 7 64bit pro.

I was finally trying to learn this beast but I could not follow along with tutorials on basic functionality.
When I go to the Matrix and make adjustments like upping the values sending E to F, nothing happens between 0 to100.
There is no audible difference no matter how much I adjust the send and feedback (whatever the correct terms are) in the Matrix.

This does nothing.


The only way to get changes to start happening is to first select a random option from the dropdown menu at the top of the FM Matrix, then clear all the values manually. Only then can we start hearing changes.



This is clearly not how it is supposed to work based on past versions I see being used in step by step beginner tutorials for FM8.
A friend who uses it once in a while told me I was crazy until he tried it and got the same results.

 

In your first image, operators A-E are turned off. You can turn them on by right-clicking them in the matrix.
