Is there any dynamic-FX in your signal chain? No matter if it is an insert in your instrument or in your master-FX chain.

What happens if you create a loop with the same sound on every beat and let the loop play along? Does it always sound wrong or is it just the first note? What Paulocks did ask makes total sense, because it sounds like something is triggered by the first note and only after this note works correctly.

No I have nothing only fm8 and it has it's own reverb which makes this clipping thingie on the first and only on the first note if it's on beat if the first note is on second beat it doesn't clip.

Have you noticed this happens without the reverb on? like if you simply do a patch with only F operator on, no modulators, no fx, shortest attack time, just a bare bones patch, keysync on, one midi note looping over, record the result and look at the resulting waveform, over a course of 4 repetitions or more you will see variations in the wave phase. Even with key sync on, wihch leads me to believe that key sync is not a true phase reset function, and I cannot seem to find any information on this. But as it stands, baring something that I've missed somewhere, even with key sync engaged there are variations in the transients as the waveforms don't seem to truly reset. Anyone have any info here?

I have already tried that and it doesn't help. When keysync is on the phase starts from zero like it should. The clipping happens when fx's are on.
