FM8 Standalone : Assign a MIDI Channel?

I am using hardware sequencers and any virtual instruments run in standalone. With this set-up, I am using different MIDI channels for my synths, both HW/SW. In Massive I can easily change the MIDI channel with one click. In Battery I can set it within the cell. BUT with FM8, I can't find anywhere to do this, so my FM8 wants to play all my synth's (and drum machines) parts. From what I've read, there is no way to do this, but I thought I'd post here and see if anyone has found a good method (other than MainStage which is too unstable for me).

 

I hav'nt tried this my self. But i believe you shall change channel thru the File/ Options "Send controllers when changed".
Please read page 43 in the manual about "MIDI Assign".
