    Please make FM9 multitimbral so that we can layer multiple instances. Sort of like the Yamaha TX816. Listening to 8 DX7's playing the same patch with slight detuning and stereo spread is pure magic.

    It's at least possible to emulate the function you described in your last sentence. Switch to the master section of the synth, have a look at the unison parameters, set voices to 8 and increase Pan to stereo spread those voices.

    I agree with this, the DX7 IID (dual) had some amazing multitimbral patches, like "Mallet Brass". You can obviously simulate with two instances but being able to build up and load/save multi layered presets inside the synth would be great.

    And obviously, the other big "FM9" request would be arpeggiator MIDI output, of course ;)

    You can do multilayer with every DAW. I see no special need to do it on the VSTi level.

    -> Keep it simple

    I would be very surprised when we see a new FMx version in 2014.

    A reason? 'save multitimbral group as one preset', that's why. Also: it opens the door to creating drumkits that can be stored as/into one preset.

    But, it's just one thing in an immense list of things that could and should be addressed..
