Fool me 1365 times, shame on me!

C'mon guys, anyone holding their breath for NI to meet a deadline is doomed to suffocation :)

I really feel bad for people who check here everyday (and sometimes every hour) to look for updates - I used to be one. But now, I just check every week or so. Checking all the time only to be let down is a really frustrating thing, and I think it would help if NI set up some sort of e-mail subscription system that can mail everyone the second an NI product / update is released. That way, people won't have to check every 5 minutes (yes, some of us our just that obsessive :), and there won't be so much agony on the boards as people let out the frustration they feel each time they find NI screwed up on it's dates... Expecting NI to meet a release date almost ensures a letdown every time...

So, NI, do subscription e-mails for subscribers who want to know of all updates. It would just be healthier for the community and your company, and our collective sanity :)

NI does e-mail out updates. Whenever you register any product, there's a checkbox (checked by default, I believe) to "stay informed about this product" which allows you to receive a note any time a product is updated.

    When will the WHINING stop!?!?!

Why would you check for an update every 5 minutes when there is an officially published deadline!?!
