For a future version: improved playlist functionality

What I'd really like to see (and hoping this hasn't been mentioned already), is that when I navigate to a playlist that I've created....that it actually gives me track recommendations for the songs in just that singular playlist, instead of the entire library on my iPad

It's not something I need per say.....but would logically make more sense

if I wanted to get track recommendations for all of the songs on my device then I'd just surf the 'songs' list

i'm with you 100%. However, in most if not all cases, i've find that the first recommended track IS from my currently used playlist - coincidence? (i.e. I've created SUCH a solid playlist that the right tracks are already in it!?)?

 

I haven't noticed that but that is interesting. I don't think this would be a hard feature to add, just an extra query or two against what's already in the playlist.

 

the product backlog of TDJ presents a bunch of user reqiurements which seem easy to solve ... so I would not be too optimist .. but @Manimal: you are right, this req is also my personal top 1 (beside performance issues) ... would be great, will see, still have my doubts. Look on the long release cycles and more worse ... the fact that each version make more problem as any older versions ...
