I have a Yamaha Midi organ with 2 manual.

If I set the midi channel to OMNI, the foot volume controller works 100%.
If I select a channel(so that I can assign different samples to each of the the manuals) then the foot volume pedal does not work.

    I'm so frustrated.

Hi, I am not a producer or composer, I just play the organ(pipe).

I only use Kontakt Player 6
    My organ has 2 keyboards.

I purchased Toccata from Sonokinetic - works like a charm. Different sounds can be assigned to either keyboard.

    Here is my problem:
I bought Forbes O: from Cinesamples
If I select OMNI at the MIDI channel, my volume/swell foot pedal works, but them both keyboards are assigned to the same sounds.
If I select different Midi channels for every keyboard, then the volume/swell pedal (CC 11) have no effect.

    Please help!

What keyboard is it exactly? Have you tried to change the midi channel on which the pedal sends it's data? Maybe it sends on channel 16 and your both keyboards on 1 and 2.

    Thank you Uwe,

Maybe you are on the right track - the keyboards certainly seem to run on 1 and 2. I have a Yamaha HS7 Organ - like this one: http://www.premierorgans.co.uk/hs7.htm

I can say that the Roland organs transmit expression pedal on channel 16.

Yep seems to be the same with that organ, as far as I could see in the manual of the hs7 manual. The 3 keyboards sending on 1 to 3 and the pedal at channel 16.

Do you have the full version of kontakt, then there is maybe an option to change the midi channel with a script. Or if you use it inside of a DAW like cubase there are also midi changing plugins you can use to change the channel from 16 to whatever you need.

    I'm using Kontakt Player 6.
Also tried to use it as VST in Reaper - can't get it to work either.
Sorry guys - I'm probably just too stupid.

Not sure what the reasoning by organ makers was for this it’s always been a bugbear with me. I ended up buying a MIDI Solutions Event Processor + and programming it to move the expression on channel 16 to channels 1-4.
