    my last proposal is for a formant filter type, or custom morphable filter, there could be a sub window similar to that of the wave/spectral design window that could allow one to create a spectral model for the resonance points of the filter, and a morphing target much the way the new morphing waves are implimented., then there could be 3 parameters, morph, frequency displacement, and resonance.
