Frequency Value Edit Units

    Hello! I am trying to create a value edit that controls frequency for the EQ1 plugin. I want the range to be 20 hz to 6K hz, so I set the range of the value edit to 20 -> 6000. What I want is when I enter a value, 700 for example, the frequency will be set to 700 hz. I am having difficulty creating the proper equations to get these values to line up. Any suggestions?
