    Hi guys,
I just got this idea, to create this thread where we can take the original image of the S4, and be creative, to do whatever we want to do, with some painting program, and then upload it here.
Just imagine the perfect S4 for you and put it here.
Soon, I'll be ready with mine :)
I post the original image, so you can take it directly from my post.

Ok, this is what I think would be the perfect controller for me. Let's see what else could be added. I am not good with this drawing programs, so.. But you get the idea and the feature I would like to see in the next controllers.

No. It keeps the best of traktor and adds what is needed for oldschool djing. I mean, I've been working a lot with s4, I know what my problems are with s4. And in this screenshot all of them (almost) are solved.

If any of us do this, maybe.. maybe in the next controller everyone will be happy.

well, it was really like Copy & Paste with this Paint program in windows.. I'm not a designer.. I'm a software developer :) and a DJ, I was working a DJ in the 90s :) No mp3s :)

Yep the 90s was great, just a few SL's a mixer and some crates of vinyl :)
No computerproblems etc , brilliant !
I hate looking at screen browsing to tracktitles, cratedigging was so much more fun :(

That's it, I hate looking at the screen.. I like after I load the file.. to just focus on the controller, no looking at the screen :) That's why I suggested this screenshot..
    And I don't like mapping too! :)
I guess a lot of us, feel the same too.

Yeah you had to be there to know what it was i guess, new generation wont get that.
I think back than you had more feeling/interaction with the music itself because you had no "help" and distraction , now days people are all focused on there screen lol its nice to have this technology these days but it has its downside imo

Pretty much all of your "ideas" are already included in the DDJ-SX. Wouldn't it be simpler to just buy that?

They are not mine ideas, I just collected all the stuff I would like to use from a lot of different setups - turntables, cdjs and so on..

Pretty much all controllers have to have these features.. Why not something from NI, it will have better integration for Traktor.

For some reason, I don't like the SX. The layout doesn't feel natural to me. And the loop on SX... I don't like it. And the price too.

Definitely, I think it's best the Filter Knob, to be something else - like Color Effect on DJM800. so you can choose, what it should be used for.
Maybe, a small led screen to the effect section, to show you which effects are selected is cool idea, too.

I wonder, djs don't use Photoshop or Paint? :) I was hoping to see other guys images.
