FX Units 3 & 4 effects selection

Hi there!

Basically I can assign fx units 3 and 4 to every deck BUT I can't select the effects for that units from the S8... I thought that pressing SHIFT+FX UNIT it would show me the 3 & 4 units to configure...

 

Did you enable 4 FX units in Traktor Preferences?

Hey there, I went back and try mine as well Shift + FX but doesn't work.

Some how i manage to get in working, change both deck in to Track Deck instead of Remix deck.
Press FX and press the first button of the FX deck then you can access to FX 3 & 4....

He said he got it working with 4 track decks instead of 2 track + 2 remix.

 

Ok but this is a stupid bug or thing that needs to be fixed please.... It's not that complicated to put shift+fx select to change the effects in each group

 

FX Unit 3 is on the left side of the controller and FX Unit 4 is on the right. FX Units 3 & 4 utilize the knobs under the screens to change parameters and the 4 ON buttons below those to choose your channel type, assign effects, and turn on the various effects (and their modifiers). When you hit FX SELECT and then the first ON button (most left) you are able to change channel options (group, single, etc). If you choose to utilize a Single Effect, you will then press FX SELECT and then press the second ON button (middle left) and use the BROWSE knob to select your effect. If you use Group Effects, you will press FX SELECT and then each of the 3 right ON buttons individually to assign effects using the BROWSE knob as you would FX Units 1 & 2 (Scroll by turning, select by pressing).

 

What about Kontrol S5 users? we don't have a second row of knobs......

Created a forum account just to say thanks! Personally don't use the remix decks and just getting back into my S8 since I found out they added custom mappings. Made 4 of remix faders tempo anyway as I miss them from the S4
