Been trying to figure out how to successfully, remap my S4 to have Filter on/off on the Gain Push commands but can't get it too work. Anyone else with the same problem or any idea on how I can fix it?

Well you are going to have to run in midi mode first off which means you lose some functionality (from the limited info I have... i may be wrong)

But... why? Why do people want eq kills and now a filter kill? Kills sounds horrible compared to the butter smooth producer style action of return to center :)

If it's to achieve a fast filter on/off functionality, you can just use an effect for that?

Or, switch the platters to control the filters in the preferences. That's how I have mine setup.

you have to map the opposite action of the native function so that they cancel out.

Then add the filter on command. I haven't tried this but I have cancelled out a few of the native actions.

So if you an on/off button. You would then map it as a off/on button so that it cancels out whatever the actions is. Then you would map fliter on, on top of that.

Well I got it to work in Midi-mode, but as you said I'm loosing the other functionalities. I've downloaded the "Gain sensitivity" patch from Traktor bibles and got that to work along with all the other functionalities (running that tsi along with the Traktor Pro S4 Default patch) and the gain sensititivty tsi is what is controlling my gain knobs.

So I figured I could make some edits in the gain sensitivity tsi to also incorperate these funktions since the "Gain push" command doesn't do anything in the Default-mode (so far to my knowlegde)

Gain push resets the gain of the deck to 0dB.

buy an bcr 2000 for 110£
it does any other midi stuff i want and still more beside my s4!
i have midi mapped everthing that the s4 dosent have on the bcr like kill switchs, bpm tap, volume and filter for each sample channel, key eencoder, gain, pitch range , and still havent used half the midi knobs there!
great midi controller to use beside s4. recommend big time!
    56 encoders
    20 buttons
to midimap and still a small unit!
