Gate event issues in Event Tables

Just uploaded an simplified live sequencer that needs a fix with gate events.

Any ideas what the solution is to getting the Rep (loop) sections working?

 

could you actually say what the Rep Loop is meant to do?

i presume you mean restart the loop from the beginning?

but i might be wrong?

Hi,

No, the Rep function is for repeating at the current position.

The Rep button records the current position. The Rep length list sets the length of the loop (1 = whole note, 32 = 32nd note). The Rep Rate list sets how often the Rep button is allowed to pass (1 = every whole note, 32 = every 32nd note).

Maybe I should have asked where I could find a simple sequencer that can:


• record midi real time

• has separate pitch and gate event tables

• allows the position and loop length to be shuffled independently for both tables
(down to 32nd note)


The best I could figure is to combine:

Sqx-2 by Len Sasso

SQP+ by Christian Bjorklund

But both of these are too complicated for what I am needing.

SQP+ comes very close, but there is a loop error I can't figure out how to fix
because of its complexity. So I figured I'd start from scratch and build something.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to do this or what can do this?

BTW, the godel arpeggiator is nice!
