GEMINI G4V Thread

I created a Traktor MIDI map for the Gemini G4V, share for everyone!

 

All mappings found in the internet and also here in this thread are more then crap!

The only one working properly is this one:

I used this and modified following things:

Buttons 1-2-3-4 are assigned as follows:
1 = Go to position 0:00/beginning of the track. Works only if deck is NOT playing.
2 = Flux mode ON
3 = Move backwards
4 = Move forwards

Back button = Toggle view
Sample section complete disabled, because of not enough modifiers
FX button 1 = No function
FX button 2 = ON (my setting Flanger)
FX button 3 = ON (my setting Delay)
FX button 4 = ON (my setting Gater)
Sync Button = Tempo and Beat Sync, no Sync mode at all
Load Buttons = Loding deck and in same time flash to beat to visibly show beat sync
CUP buttons = Turntable FX

Use following pics to get the right settings for your Traktor if you want to use this mapping.

The very most important things I miss with this mappings are:

1. Auto-Loop LED's do not turn off when Loop is deactivated
2. Browser Tree is not working

This both issues are hard to fix, especially if no empty modifiers left!

Hey Guys !

Im trying to connect a G4V to my Macbook Pro with the newest Traktor Pro.

It doesnt respond in any way . Its also not showing up when i open the audio midi tool . How can i make it work ?

3 Months ago it was working on my older Macbook now it also doesnt work there.

I have to add im not using a Power Adapter . i just plugged with USB . But it should work only via USB aswell .
Please help . i gotta play soon

 

i couldnt fix it . i was on a quite old macbook pro i guess 2010 ?

13" .. whatever .. the machine does not run well bought it second hand and changed the ram which was not working well and so on ..

now on my new machine it just worked fine. i thought i should share this.
