I just bought a traktor d2. It is worth the money. I have two technic 1200's and a traktor D2. You can plug two d2's in the back of the Z2's usb hub. Works great. The touch strips took a bit to get use to. But if you don't want to take your turntables out, then get two traktor D2's with a mixer with a built in soundcard. The most important thing is a good computer. Forget the controllers or S8, get a good computer if you can afford one. But at the price it is now it's worth the money.

Have you find a way to beatmatch efficiently with the D2?

the touchstrip and tempo adjust are pretty simple to manual beatmatch

Are they? I found beatmatching overly complicated when done against an external source.

The touchstrip is certainly effective to nudge.

But the the tempo adjust works either in whole stemps (120, 121, 122, ...), or in 1/100th (120,01, 120,02, 120,03), making it practicaly impossible to beatmatch effciently (that is under a few seconds like on a turntable).

When using the pitch adjustment on a turntable you have way more latitude as you can act on the tempo anywhere between +/- 0% to 8%.

    But maybe I missed something.

    That's neither simple, nor convenient.

Hey guys: I'm looking for help and forward thinking answers, not for stating the obvious :)
