Getting "Error: Can't Find Multi"

    Just installed Bandstand and I'm getting this error.. "Error: Can't Find Multi"..

    I have a lot of VSTI's and they all work, so I know my settings for midi are correct.. Anyone can help? I read the manual and don't see anything in there to help me.

    Can someone PLEASE help?? I would hate having to take this back to Sam Ash.. It seems just what I need..

    Hi Marc,

    sounds like something is wrong with your library location.

    try this: open Bandstand, ignore the error message and click the Options button on the top right side.

    now check that the library path points to the same location that you had set during setup. this is one level over the Default folder that contains the file GM.NKM - the default multi.

    Markus Ich Habe Das Selbe Problem

    DAS GM.NKM IST bei mir IN Native Instruments\Bandstand\Bandstand Library/ DEFAULT GESPEICHERT. Ich habe normal installiert. muss ich das default wo anders hin verschieben oder liegt es richtig?

    Hi Pppeeet,

    yes this is the right location if you use the default setting in the installer, i.e. your wohle library is installed under the path below.

    the path in your options dialog should then look like this:
    c:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Bandstand\Bandstand Library

    i copied both default and gm nkm in both library and default maps , and he still cant load the default multi. anything else i could try?

    it might then be easier to request technical support via the Help manu on this page.

    my collaegues can then go into the exact details on your machine.
