    Hi,
I've followed all the steps exactly the way its explained to make maschine control ableton but it will not friggen work for me and I'm almost about 2 smash maschine through my computer screen.
i followed the steps in the service centre perfectly but still no good. it goes into template mode and once i select the template it just does nothing.

    can someone please help me

you need to say exactly what you have done.

have you put the Ableton Template Support File into the correct Ableton Folder?

have you selected Maschine Controller in Ableton's MIDI Preferences?

you also need to give us details about your System:

    Mac or PC?

    what version of Ableton?

    what version of Maschine?

    have you watched the video?

I do not understand why you selects Kore Controller2?

Is the maschine controller what you have to choose.

Works perfect for me, and it´s very useful for live performance.

I am having the same problem, I cant find the folder that i put the support files in? I get the rest and have tried several times but it is still not listed in the control surfaces list... where on the mac drive do i find the folder the support files belong in?
    i have live 8.2.5 & os10.6.

@ mr frost: its written everywhere, anyway: right click (or ctrl-click) on the ableton live application icon (not the alias on the dock, the proper application in \applications\live 8.2.5\ ) then click show package content, then browse to contents\app-resources\midi remote script\ , place your files there and you're done.
