I've just gone from the Windows version to the Mac version (2.0.3) and seem to have lost the clock from the top bar. Is it a PC only feature, or am I just missing something simple?

(By clock I mean the real clock, so I know what the time is ... not the MIDI clock :))

Does Traktor take its time format from the main system clock?

My laptop is all in Chinese, so maybe that's what is causing it to be blank? (unless there is this illusive setting somewhere?)

I don't think there is a setting. It just displays the system clock so there's probably something incompatible between Traktor's header clock and your system clock.

Traktor reads the laptop system clock so if your laptop displays it in a format that Traktor cannot read I guess is fair to assume that it will not display it.
This is the first time i have heard of this.

Ok, I switched my region settings to "UK" and the clock appeared.

However, that's not much use for me out here ... switching it back to "Taiwan" and it disappears :(

Is there another location that has the same time that Traktor can handle?
I looked on Google and Perth Australia seems to be the same. Try that ..?

But then it will change everything into English ;)

I thought it might be to do with the Chinese characters in the time (下午10:00 - which is 10PM) - but then I changed it to 24hours (so just 22:00) and it still didn't work.

in windows its an easy fix you just go in to control panel, region and language, additional settings, under the time tab changing the value of the short time or the way that it displays (Capture) modifies the traktor time accordingly (Capture1) and because you have "下午" the non unicode characters displace everything to the right giving a blank time (even thou it actually shows up on me, in my case the bulgarian "ч." just ends up being a dot (Capture2))
My guess would be try to find if there is such option available under OSX
