Giga samples and Kontakt?

    Does any body have an angle on whether sample CD Ultimate Marimba and Vibes (Giga) works within trusty Kontakt? At £160 it is a bit of a punt, especially is all the fantastic velocity layering does not transfer. I have never tried bringing Gigas samples into Kontakt but this CD in its native format is great.

    Velocity layer`s should transfer correctly, I have two gigasamples libraries, garritan strings lite and sam horns, both treanslated well into kontakt.

    There is problems importing dimensions (crossfading between layers using the modwheel), but I doubt that vibes and
    marimba uses this feature, unless there is tremolo patches
    with modwheel cresc/decrs.

    I`m also interested in this library, so feel free to post any
    comments about it if you choose to purchase.

    Marimba

    A mate is selling a full marimba jobbie. Surely this has to be better than faffing around with samples? Have to sell a couple of synths though!

    well wouldn`t play "rhythm song" on a midi keyboard, but mockups.
    Mockups, mockups, mockups...that`s a funny word
    erm... hopefully performed oneday
