    When I change the global tuning by 0.5 of a sound using one oscillator at 0.0, is that half a semitone, say between C3 and C#3? Or is that one semitone C3 to C#3?

    I was transposing a song from another source and I think they have weird tuning of their samples. Everything is written based on F#, but I have to tune the instruments up in Massive and FM8 by 0.5 on their respective controls. I am wondering if I am really just playing a G, since the scale would look better there anyway.

    I'm really not well acquainted with Massive yet, but since it goes from 24 to -24, I'd assume each index is a semition, therefore 0.5 is between C3 and C#3 (to follow up on your example). Someone please tell me if I'm wrong.
