good speaker set up for s4 ? help newbi

hey guys whats up i was jw what a good speaker setup would be for the s4 im just starting to dj and picked up the s4 and need some good tips on speakers thanks alot would like to not go to crazy on first set

 

What's your budget? Are you going to use the monitors for studio work, as well? Expect to pay more for good quality studio monitors.

 

Are the speakers for home or gigging?

Budget?

Active or Passive?

Do you want power over quality?

i can recommend you the american audio. The sound is nice for the money! Enough bass for sure ;-) i have them at my basement… perfect for parties

How big is your club / bar? Bose Speakers are nice too, but they are expensive, i think they starting at 1500€ for 1 speaker… A friend of mine have 2 of them at his bar, the bar has a lil dancefloor.

 

They look cool, don't forget the speaker stands.

 

i have another question the s4 only has rca and 1/4 inch alot of powered speakers only have xlr or 1/4 no rca how would i do that.

 

you could get an rca to xlr cable !

that would work too, you can also ask the guys at the dj dealer which cable you would need for your speakers, maybe they can give you a special discount too, if you buy them with the speakers. Maybe also for free, recordcase do good deals
