    Hello,

I have recently been using GR 5 a lot more. There was a tutorial I watched that demonstrated how you can load mp3s in the tape decks and slow down parts, loop, etc.... Simple enough but how do you load the MP3 from your music library on the PC? I tried opening a file from the little folder icon and one i get to the folder with a mp3 in it, it shows that the folder is empty. It is set to look for audio files in all formats.... I don't know...am I missing something obvious here??? Thanks.

I have no issues using windows 7 and the latest version update of Guitar Rig. I don't have the "all formats" options, but a option that describe formats that is searched. Also mp3 is among them.
I have just tried out as you describe, and it works fine.
Update Guitar Rig if you haven't. If you have, then i assume the problem is on the computer somewhere and somehow. Not in Guitar Rig. Can't tell if you are using a MAC.
Also you can try to load another format like waw or aiff just to see if the trouble is related to your mp3 format version.
Just in case. Remember to load the file, and not a fast link to the file or something like that. If you try so, the folder will be empty i guess.

Thanks for the response LBH. I figured out the reason was the file I kept trying to find was .wma format. I assumed it was mp3.
