I run Guitar rig in Logic 7 (AU), PT LE 6.7 (rtas), and even in stand-alone mode. In all case, Guitar Rig recognizes the input signal, but the audio doesn't make it to the output. I've ried all varieties of core audio: built-in audio, via and mBox and via an Apogee mini-me.

I've tried cracking this nut for two days...any ideas?

I am getting the same problem on a G5. Did you ever get to the bottom of the problem.

I'm using a Powerbook G4 same as yours, with an MBox, and I have no problems whatsoever. So I'm not sure what will solve this problem. I'd suggest updating the CoreAudio driver available at digidesign.com. Other than that, I'm sure you've checked your input/output preferences in GR to make sure the right output is selected. Sorry man, wish I could be of more help. Good luck...

This may sound stupid but I made the same mistake the oher day after an OS upgrade reset some of my preferences. I was using GR in my G4PB and was getting no sound at all. It turned out that the TIger upgrade has reset my sound preference input to the built in mic. Just check your sound input settings in system prefs and make sure that your input is set to external mic and not the internal one.

    good luck
