    Hi

Would like help on connecting both GR3 and GRS to one set of monitors so that I can switch between GR3 and GRS.

I use just the one guitar.

    Thanks

GR3 is connected to the Rig Kontrol and GRS is connected the the Session I/O? Can you tell me more about what you're doing and why you want this workflow? I'm not sure you're aware that you can have the Session I/O as the main output for both programs without loosing the foot control from the RK3.

    Tell me more!

At the moment, you'd have to choose either one or the other for your audio. While NI interfaces are multiclient as far as apps go, they don't allow stacking of the interfaces.

Hopefully they'll come out with a driver that allows stacking; it's been a request of mine for a couple years.

    GR3 and GRS

Thanks for the info. I am a little confused as I was going to use GR3 for playing and trying out new sounds and GRS for recording. Did not understand about the foot control as I am very new at this.

I realise now that I can only use one at a time and when using for intsdance GR3 and need GRS I need to do a bit of plug swapping?

Still not sure about using what for recording GR3/GRS. I am only using my guitar.

    Any help is very welcome.

    Thanks

    ?

You said you had the controller, correct? That's your audio interface in this case- Sesson's redundant.

Guitar Rig 3 is the full version, and Guitar Rig Session is just a subset of those sounds/modules. AFAICT, there's nothing new in Session that you don't already have in GR3. Tell me more...

    GR3 and GRS

Right so I have got a GRS which is redunant. Then using GR3 how do I record my guitar to my pc as I am now lost.

I guess I have to get hold of some recording software? and from what I have been reading for the last hour or so I am not sure what to do...:S

Keep pointing me in the right direction.

    Thanks

Well, you can use Tapedeck II to record you guitar inside of GR. You can also use GR as a plug-in in any major sequencer/DAW. Have you spent any time with the manual?
