Loading a patch from GR3 to GR5 sounds completely different in a bad way. I hoped the GR3-styled cabinets will help, but no, they sound nothing like the real GR3 cabinets, different frequencies, different model at all! The real GR3 cabs were much more bright and present and not that boxy-sounding. Please, is there a way to bring back the real GR3 matched cabs?

Just a suggestion, check that your input in GR3 is the same, by the meter, as GR5, I believe GR3 had a louder default input than 5. If your input is lower, your amp is going to have less gain.

I never tried my old presets in GR5, I just created new presets but I did try remixing one with the new cab and compared it to the old cab. It was pretty much the same with the old cab, using the Tweed. I can't say it was exact but it definitely had the characteristics that I wanted to remove. GR3 and the GR3 cabinet were both more gritty and thin. I think I used GR4 when I tried this, don't remember for sure.

Coffinweed, it's not the input level that creates the problem here, and no GR3 cabinets weren't either gritty, or thin. They were different, and the supposed to be legacy versions in GR4/5 doesn't sound like them.
