When I try to add an Guitar Rig 5 FX track in Cubase 5.5, the session goes flaky.
GR5 never really loads -- I only see the outline of the window.
I even tried starting from an empty track list, and the same thing.
End up having to use Task Manager to stop the program.

I have no problem opening in standalone.

    Anyone else see this ?

I experienced major problems with Cubase 6 crashing too, I'm running a PC, Q6600, 8MB, Win7 x64, Cubase x64, I had to use jbridge to get it to work. It's ok but quirky right now, the stand alone like you mentioned seems ok, I have not had any problems.

There's no need for bridging, GR5 is 64 bit, you have to install the 64 bit VST in the appropriate folder and/or point Cubase to the right location. There's a help text link in the GR5 installer dialog for further information.

Uh...Well, yes there is, I had to bridge the 64 bit plug.

Using Cubase 6.3, Win7, Core i7, no problems here. You've probably done it but make sure you have the latest Cubase update, also I would let Steinberg know about it.

Ok...I just applied the latest Cubase 6 update 6.0.4 build 346, I was previously on version 6.0.3, So far I am not having any of the problems crashing using the stock unbridged x64 GR5 .dll file. All is good over here now! GR5 Rocks! :D

Well I spoke to soon, after about 20 minutes the GR5 display became unresponsive, I could change patches but the display stops responding. I can use it if I don't fiddle around with it too much. I'm still working on this and will see if I can reproduce this same scenario on another workstation.
