Gradual & random audio degradation on all NI audio interfaces - NI refuses to fix

I've just gotten the response from 2 weeks of troubleshooting with NI and am now stuck with a useless external soundcard. NI has stated they refuse to troubleshoot their audio interface drivers being incompatible with streams coming from osx aggregate devices and virtual devices.

NI audio devices are incompatible with all software such as soundflower, rewire, jack, audio hijack, osx aggregate devices etc. This applies to all os' as well. Btw, this even includes having a 3.5mm jack from one device to your computer and having that source come through as a live deck on traktor.

After 10-30 seconds the audio will degrade and sound like its coming through blown speakers, it can come on and/or leave abruptly or gradually. With my somewhat limited knowledge in audio driver coding I imagine that they have no bitrate and/or clock drift compensation.

If you plan on bringing in an audio source from any of these virtual devices do not buy a NI audio device.

I have a cheap as all get out soundcard that works fine in this application, as well as a belkin created soundboard that works in this scenario. Proving ultimately, that this is just lazy driver coding.

I see comments scattered across google reporting issues similar to this but unfortunately no one was ever able to pin down the problem. I'm posting this as a relief to those with the problem and a warning to those looking at these devices.

NI has, in an email, expressed they have no intention what so ever of getting rid of this problem.

And this will prolly get deleted very soon.... I guess hiring a guy to moderate forums is cheaper than hiring a coder to code usable drivers.
