GROUP EDITING please

I know I can select many cells and apply tweakings to them at the same time, but what I want is a fixed group that I can edit without always having to select all cells I wanna edit first.

I'm a drum geek who works with breaks, and I gotta do a lot of editing.

For example, I wanna put all kicks, all snares, all hats etc into groups of their own. I know I can color up the cells to make it easier for me, but I wanna have groups I can edit quickly so that I can edit kicks a bit, then edit the snare group, then EQ the hihats etc without always having to select everything first.

Best solution with B2 or B3 is to logically lay out your groups into cells in the same columns (eg. snare column, bass column, etc). Then you can highlight the column(s) with less mouse clicks.

You can do similar layout using rows if it works for your needs better.

 

yes i know but what about when u load up a .rx2?
i cant really arrange the cells again then, can i? i mean, can i move a cell without its keyrange etc changing?

 

I think your request is too specific/personal. Personally I see no real need of such groups. They are already there by rows and columns as kevin said.
