That can easily be done if you use it through a your DAW. I use it that way in Logic. There are a lot of outstanding tutorials on YouTube. Check out Altruwest. His video is the one i reference for my setup.

u did not understand my question :)

i'm not looking for maschine to send midi

I want it 2 receive midi so that i can have like 8 groups 2 8 midi channels

and control my pads with my keyboard 16 notes and if i change the midi channel on my keyboard it should change to another group :)

again someone who doesn't understand my question, as i did not already do what ure asking me 2 do :)

looks like there's not the possibility to give a midichannel 2 a group 2 sounds ok but not 2 groups

is there no way around ?

    As an Professor of Architecture,

I have found that if my students globally don't understand the question then my question isn't clear.

It sounds like all you want to do is to trigger a group (not an individual sound) via a keyboard controller, ie, have Group A for example on Midi Channel 1 and have the sounds (pads) triggered by your keyboard sequencially. Then have Group B on Midi Channel 2,etc. etc.. If that is the case, then what Sowari suggested is correct. The manual clearly states how to set a midi channel for a group through midi batch set up. It's on page 85 of my manual but it maybe on a different page on yours since I haven't downloaded the new manual. You want to do Sound Midi Batch setup not Sound Midi Setting. If this is not working for you then check your midi controller for the correct midi channel or correct root note. Or make sure you are following the instruction correctly.

If this isn't what you want to do then you need to be more clear in your question.

finally someone who understand idd that's what i wanted 2 do but it does not seem 2 work properly :) if done like how it says in the manual btw i'm using Maschine as vst not as stand alone
    ---
ACTUALLY: the thing is it does not change the midi channel if i select group A for example and apply it to midi channel one
then select group B and select channel 2 and apply it

If i then go back to group A to check if it's still on channel one it won't be it'll be set 2 channel 2 also it does not work like 1 for group A and 2 for group B etc...

Yann,,, this is what I meant by the question wasn't clear. If you are using it as a VST then many things could be wrong. Most likely it's a setting in your DAW in which we can't help you since all DAWS set up midi differently.
