guests/registered users

are there still any registered and/or NI product owners who are still classified as guests when they use this forum. i remember Afro88 is one person who is still classified as a guest.

the Forum "problem fixer" is back from his holidays and would like to fix this problem.

so let me know who you are.

i got this from Felix, who looks after these forums:-


"I suspect what is happening is that they have registered an account but not activated it. It's always worth getting them to check their junk folders/spam filters to make sure the activation mails aren't landing in the wrong place.."

so...Afro88, after registering to use these forums, you should been sent a email from from NI confirming your registration, and instructions of how to activate your account, (you click on a web link). if your account is not acitivated, you will still be a "guest".

i that email you would have been asked to activate your account by clicking on a web link.

did you do that? if so you would have been told that your account is activated.

I've got a different problem, Phil. Anytime I add a new authorization, I go from moderator to NI Product Owner, even though I maintain my Absynth mod rights. Maybe Felix could look into that as well...

Hi Sowari,

I cannot remember my password and can only log in from one computer (the one with the cookie saved when I managed to log in).

If I go to the NI Online Support page and click "Request New Password" I get "Error! The page is not configured! [type= 1][] ".

Any ideas on this one?

i'd like my join date changed back to my original March of 2002 - everytime i've added a new authorization my join date seems to change to the month if the authorization.

i've lost countless hours of sleep over this too ;-)

I have activated my acount but I'm still a guest.
By the way, before I activated it I couldn't log in. And I log in with a passward that was given to me by NI.

 

I now remember that I asked NI to give me a new passward...

 

sorry, I've been away for the past week or so. I never got an email with a confirmation link or anything. I received an email with authorisation keys, forum login details etc, but no forum confirmation link :?

 

You don't get a forum confirmation link. Try clearing out all cookies on your machine and then logging in...
