Guitar Rig 4.0.8 Update Status?

The Master FX section is one of the features I most wanted with the new version of Guitar Rig 4. Can you provide a status update on when 4.0.8 will be available? The last update was 28-09-2009 showing this was in Beta test, and we are now well into November.

Agreed -- a friendly query: not looking for a promised release date, just a general timeframe or update on how it is coming?

 

We are planning to release a public beta very soon, probably in a matter of days.

You got it, that's the difference: 4.0.7 was the pulic beta and 4.0.8 is the public beta. There's still hope, though, that there's more to it than an added 'b'.....

 

There's no such thing as 100% fixed software (excluding "Hello World!"). I'm looking forward to the beta.

A "Public Beta" is a "use at your own risk" stage of development where we, the end users, put the software through situations that their R&D never even think about... this is normal... come on with it! I'm sure we'll find all kinds of things... the sooner they do this, the sooner the stable release is published...

 

Well it's out. I couldn't get it to download.

Either it already has problems or I'm a dumb ass.

Either one is possible I am sure. LOL

 

I've yet to see any software that's bugfree...

The new amp model is really nice, I've used it already on a few tracks. So far so good on the patch IMO.
