Guitar Rig 5 Problems

    Hi
    I'm using Cakewalk Platinum (latest update). My problem is trying to record on Track 1 with a FX insert of Guitar Rig 5. Problem is it doesn't play the effects during recording. It's a dry sound and it's only when I play back the recorded audio will the Guitar Rig effect play. I know there's benefits to this. I don't really want Track 1 to record the effect I just want to here it as I'm laying down the part. Being able to hear the effect adds to the performance and emotion that goes into the recording. So is there a way to route the signal to hear the effect assigned to Guitar Rig 5 as your recording?

    Hi Bill

    I'm not sure about Cakewalk but in Cubase you have to click the "Monitor" button in the channel strip.

    Assume there is something similar in Cakewalk?
