Neither the standalone nor the plugin (Cubase 11.0.30 Pro) launches after updating to 6.2.2. The previous version (6.2.1) worked fine (both standalone & plugin). All other KUCE13 software works properly.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro ver 1909 on a 6-core i7-8750H laptop with 16 GB RAM and have a Focusrite Scarlett 4|4 audio interface (and am using the ASIO driver).

Here's the Event Viewer Error Entry:

Faulting application name: Guitar Rig 6.exe, version: 6.2.2.137, time stamp: 0x60f680e3
Faulting module name: Guitar Rig 6.exe, version: 6.2.2.137, time stamp: 0x60f680e3

Where can I (manually) download the previous version: Guitar Rig 6.2.1?

You would need to contact support as previous builds of the latest version are usually not available. I will tag Eddie @ NI to see if your request can be expedited!

    Hey David,

this sounds like some database files got corrupted during preset scanning. You could try the following things:
(substitute ***Your_Username*** with your correct Windows use name)
    1. Go to the folder "c:\Users\***Your_Username***\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Guitar Rig 6\" and delete the file "LastEditBuffer.tle". After that start Guitar Rig 6 standalone.
    2. The other option is to delete the whole database file. (This unfortunately would remove all color tags you assigned to presets in the Guitar Rig Browser.) In order to do this you just need to delete the folder "c:\Users\***Your_Username***\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Guitar Rig 6\Database\". After that start Guitar Rig 6 standalone.

    Cheers,
    Eddie

    Hi Eddie,

I did not have the file "LastEditBuffer.tle" in my Guitar Rig 6 folder, so I could not try suggestion #1.

However, I tried suggestion #2 and it worked like a charm. Thank you!

    Cheers,
    David
