    Hi,

im using guitar rig 5 pro, when im using it in stand alone situation - everything's is great, the sound is good and overall it's a great product.

the problem starts when im using it as VST plugin in cubase 5, the sound quality is significally lower, it's like "light sound" not full and fat like in the standalone.

i try to match everything - the input gain , high res option and every option i could think off, im pretty sure im just doing something not right.

another thing is the CPU usage in the stand alone is significally higher than in cubase and i belive it got something to do with it.

anyone has idea wha should i do ?? im getting really frustrated of all those technicall issues instead of making music.

Is it possible that you are using a mono track in Cubase? That would explain the "less full" sound.

it didn't help, i tried it.

the sound quality is just much lower, even CPU usage while the guitar rig is a VST plug in in cubase is much lower that it's in on stand alone mode.

i think it got something to do with it, i just don't know what i need to do.

Is it possible that Guitar Rig is operating in mono (only L or R is lit up at the top of the Guitar Rig window?)

its only L, but it's also like this in the standalone option and the sound is much better.

also when i use it with cubase there's much more backround noise.

Probably you have a routing issue in cubase.
Look in the option menu of cubase for the asio configuration. Look if the proper device is selected.
