I posted about the "You Rock Guitar" which is actually the name of the guitar. I'm down for one. Apparently, theres no lag. It's got MIDI and USB2, plus, no tuning required either!

$179. If this "toy" works like they say it'll be the best toy in years! :D

Have you tried the tremolo bar on these toys?

Compared to the real thing it's just no contest, the toy version is perfect! Really fun to use whammy bar!

I haven't, just found the vid after reading your post :) So you've already tried it i guess ? How is the MIDI implementation ? Does it support MIDI guitar mode ? I'm kinda tired reading infos on the site, too much "it's rock" and "it's cool, eh?" advertising kinda thing

Pick up any guitar hero guitar and try the trem. I'm still on pre-order for this guitar which won't be available until closer to christmas. Apparently, though, theres no lag and the midi implementation is good enough for real-time use like with Guitar Pro 5.

Bare in-mind this is a toy, but, it's feature set is awesome!

The fact that this is a toy is great ;) If it works then it's awesome, if it doesn't, well, it's a toy not a musical instrument.. :D It's different when you're investing in MIDI guitar..

hmm, for monophonic i'd rather use my own Reaktor stuff ;) Pitchbend is great, but "you rock guitar" still better for its zero latency and full poly :D

yes, absolutely, because this is a Reaktor Instrument :)

If you mean Reaktor installation, you can post in Reaktor forum for assistance from the member there
