Is it possible to plug my guitar into the Behringer USB interface, turn on Combo II, strum and hear the end product through my PC speakers?

If so what settings are required?

I've tried what I think to be everything and now I'm here.

    Many thanks in anticipation.

I just connected the headphone to the mic connector on the pc. I couldn't find a way to do it in software, if there is I would like to know it too :)

Ok, so the added noise from plugging it in the mic-in got really annoying after a while so I started fiddling with drivers and settings until it worked without routing it back from the headphone to the mic- or line-in.

Here we go, Behringer usb -> guitar combo -> soundcard.

    My setup:
    -Behringer ucg-102 guitar link
    -SigmaTel STAC9271D onboard audio
    -Windows XP SP2

    1) Uninstall the Behringer asio driver (if you installed it before).
    2) Plug in the guitar link (standard windows usb audio driver will be installed which is what you want).
    2) Install the ASIO4ALL driver (I used 2.8 beta 2)
    3) Open the ASIO4ALL settings, choose "Advanced"
    4) Enable SigmaTel HDA CODEC (or whatever your soundcard/chip is called)
    5) Enable USB Audio CODEC
    6) Disable SigmaTel Audio1 "In"
    7) Disable USB Audio CODEC "Out"
So now only "USB Audio CODEC In" and "SigmaTel Audio1 Out" is active.
    8) Open Guitar Combo
    9) Open Audio+MIDI settings
    10) On the SoundCard tab set Interface to ASIO, Sample Rate to 48000, Output Device to ASIO4ALL v2
    11) On the Routing tab set Inputs to USB Audio CODEC 1/2 and Outputs to Sigmatel Audio1 1/2
    12) Enjoy guitar sound from your pc speakers.

    See attachment for screenshots.

Note: When you use a different input and output, you may have clocking issues. Clocking issues will sound like "pops" in your audio stream as the buffers realign themselves (as they will drift apart from eachother).
