gutted - new maschine but no free expansion packs

2 days after I bought Maschine direct from NI they release the free 2 expansion packs promo!

I'm learning more and more to never buy anything for the full price unless it's a case of emergency. There are so many deals out there. I subscribed to the audiomidi.com newsletter and this morning saw the Prominy Gibson Les Paul LE discount: from $154 to $15! 1.8 GB for just one guitar. Imagine buying that and then seeing that discount...
They've got bargains like that the whole time. NI gives 50% discounts sometimes. Check the NI site around Christmas.

 

Black Friday too. It was 50% off last year, I believe.

 

The M1 deal with the two packs (saving £86) will probably hurt those greedy folk on ebay trying to shift their maschines for £400 I bet.

 

It's never nice to see an investment go "poof". Logic 7.2 used to be sold for $1.100, then came Logic 8 for $485, and a Logic 7.2 upgrade to Logic 8 costed $200. So... I bought a second hand Logic 7.2 for $250. The seller wasn't happy with the new price of Logic 8. It's no fun, a product's worth going from 1100 to 250.
Only half a year ago I bought a Logic 9 upgrade for $180.
I'm a greedy buyer

Your thread title was 'gutted - new maschine but no free expansion packs' amigo, which is (100%, not nearly, not quite) incorrect because the number of free expansion packs you are getting free, gratis, for nothing, nada, as in beer, is greater than zero.

 

the point I made, in the first post of this thread, was that i missed the 2 free expansion packs promo by 2 days - the subject was, imo, a succinct summary of that.

anyway - i've just received an email from NI with TWO expansion pack codes!

So, the gods have listened and all is well again

Man that's bullshit. I hope they'll be moving on to those who bought one even closer to the promotion drop then soon. Between the mysterious prospect of the codes arriving and answers to the couple of support tickets i've had open for days i'm getting pretty bummed out at the lack of email notification sounds right now.

Though..bought maschine just a few days ago expecting >> NOTHING <<
So.. it's kind of nice NI gave me the voucher without me even asking for it.
A pity I don't like whats available concerning those free extensions.
Guess I'll have to wait until something more interesting comes up.

 

Maybe you should not worry about it and just learn how to use maschine to make some music until it all works out?

 

When do you have to purchase Maschine to get the expansion packs. I cant find any so called dates except the end of the year... I got my maschine 3months ago, do I get them?

I just got my maschine and already registered.. =D damn happy about it. ..

so.. how long is taking NI to send the evouchers? i did the registration this afternoon and havent get the promo code. mmmm

 

I recieved mine after 3 days..fair enough.

 

Anybody know when they're sending out the voucher for those of us who bought and registered Maschine in October before the 27th?
