Half a year, still no bug fix

    As other Mac users, I was forced to switch to FM8 from FM7 for my Intel Mac. Earlier I'd been using FM7 for microtonal work, for which it was excellent. Not FM8! There are two serious bugs in the microtonal implementation, acknowledged by NI support. A maintenance update has repeatedly been promised. Due to these bugs I've had little use for FM8 which I bought no less than half a year ago.
    I'm very dissappointed.

    It seems to me that NI is mainly concerned about selling lots of Kore units and DJ gear.
    FM7/FM8 etc are probably not big money earners for them. They have refused to provide a UniBin version of FM7, but FM8 (as you say) has known bugs.

    I'm also disappointed with NI's treatment of existing customers.
    Can anyone at NI say "goodwill"?

    There are some significant bugs in the midi assignment that require attention along with all the others that have been mentioned.

    I refuse to buy any more NI softsynths till they sort out the bugs. They are developing a bad reputation in other forums for their poor support.
