The moment I add an oscillator, a note continuously plays. If I stuff around, close and re-open Reaper, unplug and plug in my keyboard, restart my computer, eventually, SOMEHOW the note will stop playing. But the moment I try to record, or hit play in my DAW (reaper) a note will continously play without any keys pressed down on the keyboard.

Any help? Even just a work-around for now would be amazing.

Are you having the issue when you use a unedited factory preset?
Are you having the issue if you add a OSC to a factory preset?

Are your DAW and Absynth fully updated?
Do you have the issue in a new DAW project?

Which Absynth version are you using?

I don't use Reaper. But i don't have that issue, and i have not seen any other reports from Reaper users about this.

    What is your computer specs?
How do you play - what controller?

    Thanks for your response :)
I've uploaded a video of the problem -
I'm having the issue both when I use an unedited factory preset, and when I add an OSC to a factory preset.
    Also in a fresh session.
My DAW and Absynth are up to date.
    Absynth VST version 5.3.1.1628
    Using Windows 7 x64.
At the moment using a KORG MicroKey. But the issue persists without any controller plugged in.

The "Audio in" Input setting in the OSC require a audio input signal to create sound. Single SIne don't.

My guess is Audio In Trigger set to "Allways on".

Check if Audio Trigger is set to Allways On in "Perform" view. It's in the low right corner of the "Perform" window.

Also you perhaps are selecting Effects presets only.
Check if you have the Browser set to browse Effect preset in "Browser" view. There are two buttons. One "Instrument" and one "Effects" button. The one that is filled green is active. If you select "Instruments" presets you should not have your issue - at least for factory presets.
Effects presets are used when using Absynth as an FX unit.

    LBH my hero.

It was the "always on" setting. I'm so happy.

Sorry I was confused what you meant when you asked about the presets. I was in effect presets. You were right in instrument presets I wouldn't have had this problem. (Noob at absynth) But super keen to learn this beast :)

    Really appreciate your help.

    Hi John Dekker,

    Your welcome.

    Thanks for reporting back.

Absynth have many features. I recommend you go thru the manual, as that can give you an idea of the features. Some features you might not think about - or find - else.
I don't find Absynth to be a easy synth to use. There are still lot's of things i don't understand or know how to use in Absynth. It can take some time to learn to use Absynth fully, so one need to be dedicated and spend the needed time to study and learn.

    Enjoy.

There are some video tutorials around. This one from PluginGuru i can recommend:

He starts out doing commercials for his products, but after that he show a lot about Absynth and how to use.

In this one he amongst other things show about the "Audio in" settings that turned out to be your "issue":
