Has anyone ever used a Kanex thunderbolt to USB 3.0 + esata adapter

    Hi has anyone ever used this device in a live situation ? with an USB audio card like a DJM 900 nexus ect I used it mine for a bit a home had no issues at all pretty neat device my cpu usage even dropped 20% while using traktor.

    yes, 2 usb3 with a mac is poor

    the kanex is working perfectly with my audio 6 and10. But I never noticed any cpu drop

    Hi,
    I'm currently using CDJ 900's and CDJ 400's with Traktor in HID mode via the 2 USB ports on my MacBook, I want to add an external Hard Drive for certain gigs, I was thinking of The Kanex adapter to run a USB 3 Hard Drive through the Thunderbolt input. Anyone ever try this set up? Will it cause CPU issues or slow down Mac or freeze Traktor etc? I'm currently using OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5, MacBook Pro(13-Inch, Late 2011) 2.4GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 3000 512MB. Traktor Pro 2.6.0
